HLM Support Program for Seniors

At Saint-Antoine 50+ Community Centre, we care about the well-being of our seniors. In partnership with the Montreal Municipal Housing Office (OMHM), we set up a program for people living in low-rent housing (HLM).

Our community worker, Clémentine Genest, helps seniors and other adults living in the HLMs of Little Burgundy. She intervenes  to help people in vulnerable situations and to promote a healthy and safe environment. She does the following:

  • Supports tenant committees
  • Listens and offers individual psychosocial support
  • Does long-term follow-up for people in vulnerable situations (through the  Neighbour helping Neighbour project)
  • Refers tenants to other organizations when necessary
  • Gives information
  • Provides orientation and accompaniment
  • Organizes activities to break isolation

For more information, or if you want to receive support, please contact Clémentine.
