HLM Support Program for Seniors

At Saint-Antoine 50+ Community Centre, we care about the well-being of our seniors. In partnership with the Montreal Municipal Housing Office (OMHM), we have set up a program for people living in low-rent housing (HLM).

Our community worker helps other adults living in the HLMs of Little Burgundy. The community worker intervenes  to help people in vulnerable situations and to promote a healthy and safe environment. The community worker does the following:

  • Listens and offers individual psychosocial support
  • Refers tenants to other organizations when necessary
  • Provides orientation and accompaniment
  • Provides information and referrals

For more information, or if you want to receive support, please contact  the HLM Support Worker.

HLM Worker Collective

Our community worker aids in starting new associations as
there is no OMHM community organizer in this area. The community worker
participates and helps organize different events in order to get community
members involved. They do the following:

  • Supports the different associations to function
  • Sits on the associations committees
  • Assists in writing up projects with some support from the local CLSC

For more information, or if you want to receive support, please contact the HLM Worker Collective.
