HLM Support Program for Seniors

At the Saint-Antoine 50+ community center, we are dedicated to enhancing the well-being and independence of older adults in our community aged 50 and older. In partnership with the Montreal Municipal Housing Office (OMHM), we offer a specialized program for individuals living in low-rent housing (HLM.)

Our HLM intervention worker plays a vital role in outreach, advocacy, and supporting older adults to maintain their autonomy while fostering a safe and healthy environment. Services include:

  • Outreach to older adults in the HLMS of Little Burgundy
  • Individual psychosocial support to promote independence.
  • Advocacy on behalf of older adults to ensure their voices are heard.
  • Referrals to appropriate community organizations when needed
  • Guidance and accompaniment in accessing resources
  • Information and referrals for additional support
